Appearances, but what do I know?

So as I was returning from lunch today I noticed two women dressed in matching and very distinctive, black outfits leaving the building. Each held a cell phone to ear in conversation.

Now I just think our infatuation with mobile technology has gone too far. I wanted to walk up to them and say, “She’s right there next to you. Look! You can talk to each other face to face.”

I dunno. Maybe I’m just gettin’ old.
