Faster changes

Tried to do right by her.  Gave her love, gave her support, gave her tools to help her move forward and provided her a home (a personal little garden, if you will) where she could blossom.  Still she could not see her foolishness under the power of her selfishness and let it all slip away.  This bird has flown away, but I’m feeling no pain.

My day has returned to “normal.”  Jak and Li’l Bit seem to be appreciating the change, too.  I think they’re glad to have me all to themselves again and I gotta admit I like this version of our family better.

The shell is less crowded today.  I think I like it this way.
