Turtle Life
I’m reminded to smile
So I was sitting on the edge of my bed, tired with my head in my hands and feeling sorry for myself.? I’m not sure if he was already on the bed or just got up on the bed, but Jak came up behind me, reached up and put his front paws on my shoulders then gave me one of his classic squeaky chirtles.? A smile came to me and I sat up straight prompting Jak to come around to my side with another squeaky chirtle.? I thought that this must be how parents of young children must feel when a little one comes to the rescue of a moment trapped in gloom.? Yeah.? Call it a touch of warm sunshine.
I love my babies.

Just reading this gives me a nice warm hug feeling. I wish we could have pets here in this apartment complex. I miss moments like that. Thanks for sharing bro.
Sox used to do that to me. She’d get right up by my face, look me in the eye, meow and rub on me…pawing at me to get closer like she knew I needed her right now.
God I miss her so much.
