Each year it is estimated that nearly 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,000 will die. Women in the United States get breast cancer more than any other type of cancer except for skin cancer. It is second only to lung cancer as a cause of cancer death in women.

Playing around with my buddy Tiffany and a borrowed lens, this image reminded me of a famous story and the related song by the Jefferson Airplane.

Might have been sometime in 1990 I was out searchin’ for some of my favorites electric blues when I came across this CD by Albert Collins, Robert Cray and Johnny Copeland called Showdown. Released in 1985 it was a set of tunes played by these three blues greats together providing a great mix of style and chemistry that had my blues sweet tooth dancing. Since then it’s been one of my favorites and every time I get the urge for an injection of some good time blues done by the masters I put this on.
