My princess gets older
The world’s sweetest cat, my little princess, baby girl, Miss Little Bit a.k.a. Li’l Bit is a year older this month. She’s in my lap as I try to write this making it very difficult for me ’cause it’s her human time. And when it’s Li’l Bit’s human time she commands all attention.

This is what I mean when I say the world’s sweetest cat
So I was just now playing with Li’l Bit. Mr. “I’ve got to be involved with everything” Jak was sitting in the hallway watching with his typical jealous stare. Li’l Bit stopped playing for a moment, walked over to Jak, gave him a kiss and then walked back to continue playing with me.

My little princess
One of the things I love about Li’l Bit is how she likes to do things in consistent pattern. She has her favorite places to go and favorite routines. One such is everyday right after supper she always goes and jumps up on the guest room dresser and peers out at the hallway waiting for me to come in and give her scritches. If I don’t come soon enough when I pass by the doorway she’ll be giving me a strange look as if to say, “what’s the hold up?”

Li’l Bit the Gentle One
When I come home from work I’m expected to come over and greet her before I get too far into the house. After they’ve been fed she’s sitting on the guest room dresser “expecting” her neck scratching. It’s kind of fun to watch Li’l bit do this because she’s a very quiet and rarely says anything. Instead she just goes to “her spots” sitting there and looking at me like, “well?”
