Electricity was restored to our neighborhood around 1:30 AM this morning. All hail those utility workers at Nashville Electric Service who got out and struggled in such difficult conditions to restore power to the community.
As I drove down Ocala Dr. I was holding out faint hope that I would return home to find our electricity restored. The hope ended when I caught sight of the darkened road that trailed behind the row of illuminated street lights. Slightly disappointed if not surprised I guided my car down the rest of the route into the power void that had seized my neighborhood.
If you’ll note that video that I linked up above that is a portable school building from a school that is located about 2 miles from my house. The result of that event knocked out power in a part of my neighborhood – where my home is located. So I don’t have any power.
Alarms, bells, whistles, and confetti!

For the most of this week I was without internet. It was frustrating and interfered not only with my production, but my mood. Had much difficult time focusing on anything and I slept too much.
